KTCT Institute of Paramedical Sciences started functioning at the KTCT Hospital campus in the year 2005 with its first batch of DMLT course with an intake of 30 students .Later DHI course started in 2006 with an intake of 30 students.

KTCT Institute of Paramedical Sciences started functioning at the KTCT Hospital campus in the year 2005 with its first batch of DMLT course with an intake of 30 students .Later DHI course started in 2006 with an intake of 30 students .But the institute was renamed as College of Allied Health Sciences in 2022 and the affiliation from Kerala University of health Sciences and the letter of Permission from the Government of Kerala was granted for starting BScMLT degree course in 2022-23 academic year. The academic and clinical training are being given in the KTCT hospital in the same campus. KTCT hospital is a landmark of medical and healthcare destination in Thiruvananthapuram situated near Kallambalam between Attingal and Kallambalam, located right to the national highway. The KTCT Hospital was started in 1985 as an out patient clinic managed by one doctor,one nurse and one supporting staff.It has nurtured in to
a fully grown 350 bedded multi-speciality hospital.It is high time to appreciate the former visioned members of Kaduvayil Thangal Charitable Trust, established in 1986. The hospital has been in the fore front to provide affordable medical care to the people living around Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam district. The hospital is compassionate towards the requirements of the under privileged class of the society of southern district of Kerala. The clinical and diagnostic facilities in this hospital are most advanced. The hospital is well known on considering the well qualified and experienced doctors, nurses, technologists, allied health professionals and staff members. Our academic objective is to mold highest ranked allied health professionals for the community in their concerned field.So we provide a best training in theory, practical and clinical laboratory practices to the students to mould them in to a professional of international standard .
  The KTCT Hospital is a multi-specialty hospital with various specialties and super specialty departments including General medicine, Gynaecology & Infertility, General & Laparoscopic Surgery, Paediatrics, Paediatrics Surgery, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Respiratory Medicine, Psychiatry, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Infertility, Urology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Dental, Physiotherapy, Diabetic clinic, Radiology, Anesthesiology, and ENT.State of the art equipment and facilities at the hospital aid in providing timely treatment and care in cases of emergencies and complications. The hospital has a 24x7 emergency department,radiology, laboratory and pharmacy services.
   The school of nursing attached to the hospital offers GNM courses with an annual intake 50 students.In addition,the construction of a multi storied nursing college building for starting BSc(Nursing) degree course is almost completed.The procedures for the Government and University approval is under process.
